"小確幸 - A Certain Happiness" is a fan-created zine dedicated to the fictional pairing between Miya Atsumu and Kita Shinsuke from Haikyuu!! (2012 - 2020) created by Furudate Haruichi.

This zine will be for-charity and all proceeds will be donated to IFAD. Compensation will be based on tier levels dependent on the amount of profit made.
Level 1 - Contributors get a free physical zine but pay for shippingLevel 2 - Contributors get a free physical zine + paid shippingLevel 3 - Contributors get a free full bundle (zine + merch) + paid shipping.
All levels above are assuming profit is made after production costs. Unfortunately, a free physical zine cannot be guaranteed from the get-go, but if the break-even point has not been reached, a free digital PDF is guaranteed for all contributors. At levels 1 and 2, merch items will be available to contributors at production price.
Any profits left over after compensating the contributors and their bundles shall be donated to charity.

THEME
This fanzine will be canon-compliant and feature artwork and written work currently applied towards a "domesticity" theme, depicting how Atsumu and Kita can show intimacy and express affection to one another.

ZINE SPECS
Our goal is to have a full color physical B5 (6.9 x 9.8 inches) + digital zine, with physical merch. The zine will include written stories, full illustrations, and comics. Physical merch includes stickers, postcard prints, polaroid/photo prints, bookmarks, and charms. All stories featured will be between 1.5 and 2.5k words. Stretch goals will be kept a surprise until pre-orders.

- What is a zine?
A fanzine, or zine for short, is a term used to describe an unofficial, fanmade publication, which can be both digital or physical. Zines often contain a mix of artworks, writing, and merchandise for a specific fandom.

- What is the theme of the zine?
This fanzine will be canon-compliant and feature artwork and written work currently applied towards a "domesticity" theme, depicting how Atsumu and Kita can show intimacy and express affection to one another. Previous "love language" restrictions have been lifted and contributors are free to interpret as they wish. The overarching and general theme is applied towards our "A Certain Happiness" title, which means to find love in the mundane and love expressed in small gestures.

- Will this zine be digital or physical?
This zine will be physical, with a physical zine as well as paper and hard merch.

- Will this be for-profit, for-charity, or free?
This project will be for charity as decided by the moderator team, and the international charity we will be donating to shall be decided by all the contributors and mods.

- How will contributors get compensated?
All contributors will receive free copy of the PDF for their efforts, and all steps will be taken to ensure that they can receive a full bundle but there will be tier set-ups depending on the amount of profit made. If the zine does not break even, contributors are encouraged to purchase the zine at production price.

- Are AUs allowed in a zine piece?
We would like to stick to canon with this zine, so blantant AUs are not allowed. However, we will not be restricting the personal freedoms of our contributors, so as long as the headcanon can exist between the lines of what happened in canonverse, then it is allowed.

- Are manga spoilers okay?
Yes, seeing as though Kita and Atsumu have relatively little on-screen interaction both pre- and post-time skip, manga spoilers will be present in order to give our contributors more space to frame their pieces! Therefore, pieces will likely contain references to high school, the years during the timeskip, and post-timeskip adult life! If you are anime only, please proceed with caution!

- Where will the zine be shipped from? Will it be available internationally?
The zine will be shipped from the US, and can be made available internationally! The countries available for international shipping will depend on the COVID and VAT situation at the time of pre-orders.
